Biohaus™ Carpet
These are the only carpets we recommend for the chemically sensitive: Biohaus™ Lines. 100% wool from Denmark and Australia in a variety of natural hues, tufted onto a jute backing with natural latex adhesive from the rubber tree. As with all wool, it repels dirt by its nature and with regular vacuuming wears exceptionally well. No mothproofing, no dyes, no stain repellents, no bleaching, no synthetic latex.

• All natural primary backing. Made of a combination of hemp and cotton with properties of durability, strength and mold and mildew resistance. Used in place of traditional synthetic polypropylene primary
• Wool yarns are locked in place with a natural adhesive that is derived from the rubber tree. This further helps to lock the stitches in place and prevents slippage of the yarn. This adhesive is completely biodegradable and non-toxic as well
• Jute, a hardy earth friendly fiber producing plant is used for the secondary backing
• No stain treatment or chemicals applied
• Meets or exceeds flammability standards set by methenamine pill test requirements for carpets and area rugs
